SaveDL

DMCA Policy

Last updated: March 19, 2026

SaveDL (“we”, “our”, “us”), accessible at savedl.net, respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our service to do the same.

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”) and applicable international copyright laws, we will respond expeditiously to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.

How SaveDL Works

SaveDL is a technical tool that helps users access publicly available content from Instagram. We do not host, store, or cache Instagram media files on our servers. Most DMCA concerns regarding Instagram content should be directed to Instagram/Meta at Instagram's copyright reporting page.

If you believe content hosted directly on SaveDL — such as blog articles or images used in our own content — infringes your copyright, please follow the process below.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

A valid notice must include: your identification, a description of the copyrighted work, the location of infringing material, a good faith statement, an accuracy statement under penalty of perjury, and your signature.

Submit Your Notice

Send your complete DMCA notice via our contact form. Include “DMCA Takedown Notice” in the subject field.

Our Response Process

  1. Acknowledge receipt within 48 hours
  2. Review the notice for completeness and validity
  3. Remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content if the notice is valid
  4. Notify the user who posted the content (if applicable)
  5. Provide information about filing a counter-notification

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notification. Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat Infringers

SaveDL has a policy of terminating access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

Misuse of DMCA Process

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing may be liable for damages.
